One of my goals for my time in the U.S. is to spend lots of time outdoors, especially near Lake Michigan. Last “weekend,” by which I mean Thursday night to Saturday, because I had commitments on Sunday, I took a trip up to what has been called “the most beautiful place in America,”—Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It wasn’t my first trip, so I didn’t try to see everything. One of the reasons I went is I love the Platte River Campground’s wooded sites and toilets and showers. I spent a lot of time chilling at my site. I didn’t really take photos of that. But I did do some exploring and walking along Lake Michigan, and some of my photos are below.
